A luxury autumn wedding at Deer Park Country House Devon
What a wonderful day this was for Kate & Richard at Deer Park Country House last September. It was filled to the brim with luxurious fresh florals in pink and peach tones, candlelight and crisp sunshine between showers. Family and friends travelled all the way from Australia and other corners of the world to celebrate the day with this lovely couple.
Favourite moments
Kate & Richard chose to have a first look in the Walled Garden ahead of their ceremony, allowing us to capture a lot of their couple photos in the morning. The flowers were blooming and the orchard was beautifully lit with festoon lighting, giving the perfect private space for the soon-to-be-wed’s to have their photos.
They had a gorgeous celebrant-led ceremony in the Orangery, and Alicen of Beautiful Day Celebrant soon had all of their guests in tears of laughter as she reflected on the couple and their love story. I loved the beautiful ceremony backdrop that was romantically styled with urns overflowing with florals by Miranda Hackett. Afterwards, the newlyweds and their guests retreated back to the orchard to enjoy grazing platters and drinks in the crisp autumn sunshine. The orangery was styled elegantly by the incredible Laura Louise Hall, allowing the dusky evening to be enjoyed amongst glittering candlelight.
