A Florence Affair | An Italian inspired black & beige wedding editorial
A luxury black-tie wedding editorial with modern black and neutral details…
If you’re looking for wedding inspiration with all of the romance and luxury of Italian design, statement couture bridal fashion and modern fine art styling, then you’ve come to the right place! I’m absolutely loving capturing weddings with bold black details at the moment, so it was really fun to get creative with a talented team of suppliers and create some luxury wedding imagery in this style. This fabulous shoot was a fine art workshop put together by Emma Pilkington Photography and it was so lovely to get to know some like minded photographers and suppliers. Our Bride & Groom were dressed to perfection by Jean Jackson Couture, and some of my favourite looks were styled with statement sleeves and intricate veils. I really enjoy having an editorial element to my wedding photography anyway, so loved creating these fashion forward images in more of a studio setting. Our couple portraits were followed by capturing table details, with neutral beige linens, bold black details and fresh florals. It was modern and luxurious, and would be perfect for any couple who would like timeless styling without using white or pastel tones. We finished the day by capturing some more couture bridal fashion, with the most incredible black dress!

I’m excited to share some highlights from a recent wedding editorial at The Lost Music Hall, a hidden gem in the beautiful Devonshire countryside, that looks just as romantic as it’s name suggests. This enchanting wedding venue, with its rich history and captivating charm, provided the setting for the vision meticulously brought together by the wonderful Fern Godfrey Weddings.
I’m so lucky to have the beautiful Pynes House right on my door step; you instantly know you’ve found something truly special the moment you make your way up their tree lined driveway. It was the perfect setting for Daisy & Harvey’s day, from their sweet outdoor ceremony, to dancing the night away in the Ballroom.
These two had such a great energy and were so clearly head over heels in love. I have such fond memories from capturing their day, scroll for a few of my favourite moments…
What a wonderful day this was for Kate & Richard at Deer Park Country House last September.
It was filled to the brim with luxurious fresh florals in pink and peach tones, candlelight and crisp sunshine between showers. Family and friends travelled all the way from Australia and other corners of the world to celebrate the day with this lovely couple.
I’m so excited to share more from this beautiful day at Pynes House last July. Julie & Michael had a French-English fusion wedding, with lots of their guests travelling to celebrate the day together.
I loved seeing the way in which they brought together the two languages, cultures and traditions to create a wedding that really reflected both them as a couple and their loved ones.
It’s always such a privilege to photograph elopements, and Brickhouse Vineyard in Devon has to be one of my favourite venues for this type of wedding!
Surrounded by their grape vines, the beautiful Devonshire countryside and with the barn as your backdrop, it really is such an idyllic spot to say your vows.
Leanne & Guy’s wedding at Brickhouse Vineyard was modern & stylish…
From an outdoor ceremony with their family and friends overlooking the vineyard, to a black-tie dress code and monochrome styling, this summer wedding was such a dream to capture!
Our wedding photos are often one of the only things we get to keep once the day is over and I fully believe in the power of print to help take your memories to the next level.
So, here are a few reasons why you may want to consider printing your wedding photographs…
Chris and Hsiu’s October wedding at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire was a breath taking celebration and such a joy to capture. The attention to detail was second to none throughout, from the bridal preparations in the chic Park Suite, to the perfectly styled and floral filled wedding ceremony, every thoughtful aspect reflected the wonderful couple perfectly.
