A Jane Austen Inspired Bridal Shoot | Midelney Manor
I absolutely loved photographing and co-ordinating this gorgeous autumnal Jane Austen inspired bridal shoot at Midleney Manor, Somerset. It’s a 16th century Grade I listed beautiful manor house surrounded by its 400 acres of land and woodland, including the romantic 17th century walled gardens.
The winter sun was low in the sky and created all sorts of warm golden tones. As a wedding photographer who specialises in using natural light, this was such a dream to work with! The manor’s gardens are a sun trap and I wanted to make the most of having this beautiful light available to us. I brought together a dream team of wedding suppliers local to Devon, Somerset and the South West, who brought all of my ideas to life perfectly. We used a muted colour scheme of browns, muted pink and luxurious golden tones which worked beautifully alongside the local stone. I hope this shoot gives you lots of inspiration with your own wedding planning!
