Today I really wanted to share with you these images from our bridal editorial shoot at Great Fulford Estate. You may recognise some of them from our lovely features with Wed Magazine and The English Wedding Blog .
I had the idea to go back and do an editorial shoot there, after being lucky enough to shoot a real wedding inside there several years ago. I remembered that I loved the beautiful grey walls, the high detailed ceilings, oil paintings, marble floors and that massive winding staircase. Great Fulford has such a grand feel about it, as well as a sort of forgotten about quality, which I thought was super romantic and also set it aside from other venues.
I worked with such a amazing and talented team of wedding suppliers on this shoot, they each interpreted the brief and brought together elements of the shoot just perfectly. We reflected the interiors of Great Fulford within our props and florals, the grey blues and golds were key. We went for a quintessentially English Rose feel with our beautiful model Vicki and I couldn't be happier with the results. I hope it provides you with some inspiration if you are planning your wedding in Devon, or looking to combine tradition with modern trends. Read more about this shoot over in the current issue of Wed Magazine.
