My first post on this brand new shiny blog will be sharing a seriously lovely wedding with you. Emma and James had a beautiful wedding at the Fox and Hounds Hotel in Eggesford, Devon on a sunny day in August. I've decided to split this wedding into two posts, as it was so difficult to choose my favourites from the day.
Both the bride and Groom got ready with their wedding parties in the same hotel, which was great as it allowed me to easily go between the two, photographing the prepartions and anticipation for the day. The morning was filled with make up, hair curling, pastel shoes, lilac and lace dresses, a whole lot of laughter - and many cups of tea.
Once ready and guests had arrived at the venue, Emma and James married in the gardens, decorated with wooden hearts and accompanied to the sound of live acoustic guitar. The ceronmony was a relaxed and intimate occassion. Their whole day was filled with such thoughtful, pretty and personal details, which was so much fun to photograph. Head over to the next post see Part Two; their shabby chic English tea party style reception and photos of the newly weds in the gardens with their daughter.
